Lake Saint Louis, Missouri

Benjamin Kotthoff

I manage a 16-store territory for Apple across St. Charles County. I also run a drone photography business and build forecast tools for people who chase the sky.

Next, I'm looking for a B2B territory or account sales role with an environmental, weather, or geospatial company.

A little about me

Weather got me first. I took atmospheric science courses at the University of Missouri and forecast on air at KOMU 8 in Columbia, building my own graphics and explaining the forecast without a script.

These days I spend a lot of my week on the road. At Apple I look after carrier and retail partner stores: I train their teams, set up product launches, and fix whatever is wrong on the sales floor. Before that I repaired iPhones and wired networks for small businesses at Gravity.

I'm also an FAA Part 107 remote pilot. In 2024 I started Big Burr Birds Eye to shoot aerial photos, video, and 360 tours for real estate, and I built BK Weather so photographers know when the sky is worth going out for.

Let's talk

If you're hiring for a territory or account role, I'd like to hear about it. Storm talk is welcome too.
